Kate Cannon is delighted to serve as the Educational Director at CCNS. Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History from American University in Washington, DC. She then went on to pursue her Masters Degree in Educational Philosophy from Holy Family University in Philadelphia, and has teaching certifications in English (7-12), History (7-12), and PreK-4.Kate has experience teaching a variety of age groups from middle to high school students in both urban and suburban school environments and public and charter school settings.Prior to joining CCNS, she sat on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County and continues to volunteer with the organization as a Big Sister to her Little Sister Lucia.Kate is passionate about working with children and volunteering in the community. In her time at CCNS as a parent, she served as a Class Parent and a member of the Family Events Committee, and as a teacher has taught the Threes two-day, Young Threes, and Lunch and Learn Programs.She loves to run, spend time with her family and her two crazy rescue dogs, and happily resides in historic Carversville, Pa.
Office Administrator
Sue Burns enjoys two roles at CCNS as an Office Administrator and teaching assistant in the Creative Arts Enrichment program. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Massachusetts. Over the years, she has enjoyed teaching and coaching children of all ages. Currently, Sue devotes time volunteering as an Advisor for the Council Rock North student-lead community service group called SHARE. Sue and her husband Mike live in Newtown and have four children, Tyler, Nathan, Justin Hailey and her dog Daisy. She enjoys running, volleyball, basketball, dragon boating, hiking and spending time at her children’s sporting, theatre and choir events.
Business Administrator
Trisha Ritter is pleased to begin her third year as CCNS’ Business Administrator. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Villanova University. Trisha has a background in corporate banking and business management. Trisha and her husband John live in Upper Makefield with their two children, Madison and Dylan, who are both CCNS alumni. Trisha was a CCNS parent for six years and served as Assistant Treasurer and was also on the Board as Vice President. Trisha enjoys playing tennis, reading and spending time with her family.
