Kate Cannon is so excited to begin serving as the Educational Director of CCNS!
Kate Cannon is delighted to serve as the Educational Director at CCNS. Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History from American University in Washington, DC. She then went on to pursue her Masters Degree in Educational Philosophy from Holy Family University in Philadelphia, and has teaching certifications in English (7-12), History (7-12), and PreK-4.
Kate has experience teaching a variety of age groups from middle to high school students in both urban and suburban school environments and public and charter school settings.
Prior to joining CCNS, she sat on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County and continues to volunteer with the organization as a Big Sister to her Little Sister Lucia.
Kate is passionate about working with children and volunteering in the community. In her time at CCNS as a parent, she served as a Class Parent and a member of the Family Events Committee, and as a teacher has taught the Threes two-day, Young Threes, and Lunch and Learn Programs.
She loves to run, spend time with her family and her two crazy rescue dogs, and happily resides in historic Carversville, Pa.
