CCNS Enrichment Programs

Creative Arts gives budding artists the opportunity to discover, create and explore their way through a variety of art experiences. There is no right or wrong way for our projects to turn out! The primary goal is for children to explore, enjoy, learn from and begin to appreciate art while having fun throughout the process. Each class focuses on a specific topic or artist. From learning the color wheel and mixing colors, to the techniques of classic artists such as Van Gogh, Michelangelo, and Monet, to the drawings of Eric Carle and Shel Silverstein, it’s an exciting, colorful adventure resulting in masterpieces to treasure for years to come. Creative Arts is offered on Friday afternoons.

Come join us for even more fun in our newest enrichment class. We will play with friends, read books and participate in more hands-on learning activities. Our teachers will provide theme-based activities such as: art projects, science experiments and explorations, sensory activities, physical activities, baking, stories, songs and circle time, all while reinforcing fundamental academic and social/emotional skills through play! It’s also a great way to meet new friends at CCNS! Bright & Busy Afternoons will follow a schedule that is typical of our other preschool classes. Our Bright and Busy Afternoon Wednesday enrichment class is open to our Young 3's and 3's 2-day CCNS students and our Bright and Busy Tuesday and Thursday enrichment class is open to our 3's 3-day and Young 4s CCNS students.
